1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of interpreting services by Pouzad Interpreting Ltd.

By booking or using our services, clients agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
 

2. Services

Pouzad Interpreting Ltd provides professional interpreting services across the United Kingdom, including:

  • Face-to-face interpreting

  • Video remote interpreting

  • Telephone interpreting

  • Legal interpreting

  • Medical interpreting

  • Public sector interpreting

All services are subject to interpreter availability and confirmation.
 

3. Bookings

Clients are required to provide accurate booking information, including:

  • Date and time

  • Language required

  • Location or platform details

  • Nature of the appointment

  • Any special requirements

Bookings are not confirmed until written or email confirmation has been issued by Pouzad Interpreting Ltd.
 

4. Minimum Booking Duration

A minimum booking duration of 1 hour applies to all face-to-face and video interpreting assignments.

Telephone interpreting may be charged differently depending on the service agreement.
 

5. Cancellation Policy
Pouzad Interpreting Ltd requires at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or amendments.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a 50% charge of the agreed booking fee.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment or failure to attend may incur a charge of 100% of the booking fee.

6. Urgent & Same-Day Bookings

Urgent or same-day bookings may be accepted, subject to interpreter availability and may incur additional charges.
 

7. Travel & Waiting Time

Travel costs, parking charges, and waiting time may apply depending on the assignment location and circumstances.

Any applicable additional charges will be communicated where possible before confirmation.
 

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking information

  • Ensuring safe and appropriate working conditions

  • Informing us of any changes as soon as possible

  • Maintaining confidentiality where required.
     

9. Confidentiality

Pouzad Interpreting Ltd and its interpreters maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and assignments.

Interpreters are expected to act professionally and ethically at all times.
 

10. Interpreter Conduct

All interpreters engaged by Pouzad Interpreting Ltd are expected to:

  • Maintain professionalism

  • Interpret accurately and impartially

  • Respect confidentiality

  • Comply with safeguarding and legal requirements where applicable.
     

11. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to provide reliable and professional services at all times, Pouzad Interpreting Ltd shall not be held liable for:

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control

  • Technical failures affecting remote services

  • Losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the client

Liability shall be limited to the value of the booked service.
 

12. Payments

Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment terms stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may result in suspension of future services.
 

13. Data Protection

Pouzad Interpreting Ltd processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

14. Amendments

Pouzad Interpreting Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions will be published on the website.
